Our Story
The beginning…
Our journey began on the night of 20 July 2018, at Madison Avenue, a vibrant nightclub in Rivonia. From that unforgettable moment, our story unfolded, creating a love we will cherish forever.
2018
2018 was a year of firsts, marking the beginning of our relationship, Mikayla’s matric dance, and Nick’s medical ball.
2019
2019 brought adventure as we took our first trips together, from a scenic getaway to Clarens to the start of many visits to Cape Town.
2020
2020 was filled with milestones. Mikayla celebrated her 21st birthday, and Nick completed his final year of studies, marking an important chapter in our lives.
2021
2021 was a time of achievement as Nick graduated, opening the door to new opportunities.
2022
2022 took us across borders on our first overseas trip to the UK, and we celebrated another proud moment when Mikayla earned her undergraduate degree.
2023
2023 was a defining year. With both of us working, we moved into our first home together, a meaningful step in our journey. But the most unforgettable moment was when Nick got down on one knee and asked the question that changed everything.
2024
2024 was filled with joy and new experiences. We created lasting memories on a dream getaway to Thailand and welcomed the sweetest addition to our little family, our beloved Benji.
2025
Now, 2025 marks the beginning of our greatest adventure yet as we say “I do” and begin our forever as husband and wife.
